Heilongjiang hand cannon.
machined 4140 barrel, bore sizes 55cal to 100cal as requested.
18.5 in long barrel, 3” in dia powder chamber, 5ft in total length,
Weight approx. 5 lb depending on requested bore,
barrel will be test fired twice before shipment.
Original 100.Cal barrel was bronze; wrought iron was utilized for gun barrels until after the 1830's. as such if following proper safety measures for blackpowder muzzleloaders pressure will not exceed tensile strength of annealed 4140. hardening would increase risk of barrel explosion in case of improper loading.
50-100 grains Blackpowder only, smokeless powder will exceed pressure limits of material.
Do not fire if accidently double charged (loaded).
